This idea has been so successful that there are now lunch money calculators on the web. Long before the web existed I decided due to limited resources that I could forgo lunch out and instead save the restaurant dollars. My goal? A college fund for my children. Long story short, I ended up with enough for in state college tuition for both children. For reals—do the math.
