On the afternoon of Thursday, April 10th, 2014, Harbor hosted a client event featuring the co-founders of Green Alpha Advisors, Garvin Jabusch and Jeremy Deems. Garvin and Jeremy believe that “the global economy must evolve to operate in an environmentally sustainable world.” Their approach to investing is driven by science, demography, and innovative products and services that address the changing global climate, including things like fossil free fuels and high efficiency irrigation, moving towards powering ourselves with renewable energy and eliminating our resource gluttony.
We had a great turnout of clients come to this relaxed yet informative presentation. Harbor tries to host Green Alpha Advisors at least once a year, so we hope other interested clients can join us next time.
